Merry Christmas

Some might think it odd that I post Christmas sentiments, for many believe that Native American culture and Christianity are at odds given our history. I can assure you, as the daughter of a Cherokee father and an Irish Catholic mother, they are not. I walk peacefully within both worlds. In my life, there is no denying the existence of a higher power; call him what you may.
