David Midthunder

Bio

David Paul Midthunder was born in 1962 on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in Montana. He graduated from Stewart Indian School in Carson City, Nevada before pursuing a degree in Cultural Anthropology at the University of Utah.

A member of the Assiniboine and Lakota Sioux tribes David was raised in the Lakota tribal traditions. He a Sundancer and Northen Tradicional Dancer who still participates in Sweatlodges. He has served as a keynote speaker as well as an advisor of Lakota culture and language for many films.

Maintaining an active lifestyle, he is a bicyclist and surfer who has also performed movie stunts. Married to actress/producer, Angelique, the couple have a daughter, Amber, who is also an actress like her talented parents.
